Senior Principal Engineer - Salesforce
Atlanta, GA
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all program development within Salesforce.com and integration to other MA Business Applications.
- Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Salesforce.com platform based on industry best practices as well as business needs.
- Documenting business and technical requirements and resulting unit test scripts.
- Working with the Enterprise Applications and IT teams to conduct change management activities necessary for a successful system implementation.
- Participating and possibly coordinating in the execution of functional unit testing, user role testing, data analysis, and integration testing.
- Will work under general supervision and in a team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, business or a related technical or business field.
- 10+ years of solid development implementation and support experience in enterprise-level Salesforce.com CRM/Force.com projects using agile software development methodologies throughout the whole life cycle with repeated and demonstrable success. Expert level understanding of the Salesforce.com product suite, including Sales, Service, Integration, Analytics, Community, and Marketing Clouds, as well as the Force.com Platform
- 8+ years of extensive configuration/declarative design experience with Salesforce.com administration, including territory hierarchy, role hierarchy, workflows, approval process, validation rules, process builder, and security controls
- 8+ years of development and support experience with customizing the Salesforce.com platform using Apex, Visualforce, Creating Lightning Components, SOQL, SOSL.
- 8+ years of experience with Salesforce.com code/data management tools like Force.com IDE, Data Loader, Workbench, GitHub, Bitbucket and Developer Console
- 8+ years of implementation/support experience with Salesforce.com AppExchange applications such as Financial Force products (Professional Services Automation and Revenue Recognition & Forecasting)
- 8+ years of implementation experience documenting business processes and wireframing system designs using process flow diagram tools, sequence diagrams, etc. as well as making recommendations for future-state improved processes and system designs
- 8+ years of development and support experience integrating Salesforce.com with other systems (SAP, Workday, Service Now and cloud/on-prem JIRA), including REST/SOAP API calls and using 3rd party ETL tools, such as Mulesoft, Informatica, etc
- 8+ years of development and support experience with single-org deployments and multi-org consolidations
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of development/support experience with Force.com related technologies - Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Framework, SOQL, SOSL, jQuery, XML, XHTML, CSS, AJAX / JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP
- 8+ years of development and support experience in scripting languages, including Python, Shell, Perl
- Current Salesforce.com Admin, Developer and Platform App builder certifications
