This Product Manager role is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely across multiple internal teams to ensure those requirements are executed upon. The Product Manager will be responsible for gathering internal and client feedback and iterating based on new and changing requirements and commutating releases out to key stakeholders. Ultimately, the Product Manager will be responsible for ongoing value and success of the customer portal and related efforts.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Gather, develop and share best practices when partnering with our affiliate banks and lines of business that identify opportunities to improve our use of the Salesforce platform
Refine the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Salesforce platform ensuring alignment with business and technology stakeholders
Articulate value proposition needed to effectively leverage planned capabilities
Partner with data and analytics resources to drive KPI’s that ensure user information needed is available to effectively leverage existing capabilities and design new features
Improve banker and customer experiences by mapping existing usage, defining target-state usage, and executing other UX R&D best practices
Work closely with business analysts, SFDC admins, developers and business partners to execute process and product enhancements
Maintain and leverage relationship with Salesforce and other vendors
Develop and support broad customer engagement strategies including addressing capability gaps
Develop business cases and secure funding for specific opportunities
Qualifications
Education/Experience, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority and build relationships with stakeholders at a senior management level
Experience with Salesforce (Admin, BA, Product Manager, etc.)
Experience with Salesforce Communities
Must have excellent problem analysis and resolution experience
Ability to recommend and help define strategic product vision & roadmap
Self-motivated, energetic contributor with ability to independently prioritize daily work and development work
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Must be able to define a vision and successfully engage diverse stakeholders on the journey to achieve the vision
Must have excellent judgment and communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong follow-up to confirm tasks are completed
Experience working in the financial services industry, ideally commercial and retail banking preferred
Some experience with advanced data and analytics, machine-learning, and/or artificial intelligence utilized to drive/support customer engagement preferred
Bachelor’s degree in human-centered design, information technology, business or a related field such as marketing, professional sales, or sales management or at least 4+ years of technical product management or user experience (UX) or other directly related experience
Working experience including Microsoft Office, ADO and Visio preferred
