Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce as a Business user or developing Salesforce based solutions.
  • Experience working in a startup-type environment.
  • Experience devising communication strategies for different stakeholders, including technical and executive.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical related fields.
  • UX experience.
  • Knowledge of a variety of communications tools, and relevant use cases.
  • Ability to interact with technical and non-technical global, cross-functional groups.
  • Ability to adapt, learn and grow with a fast growing team.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

As the Communications and Training Lead for Salesforce Hub, you will be responsible for defining and executing on a broad communications and training strategy. This is a great opportunity to build the communications and training function from ground up for a large, impactful organization. This role will require a thought leader on building culture, collaborating across a large and varied set of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a communications and training strategy.
  • Develop proactive and reactive communications vehicles for the Hub to engage with all our stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Hub teams, and key partners to own and manage events at Google.
  • Define and maintain a stakeholder map for the Hub, including helping Hub teams identify their key stakeholders and manage targeted communications.
  • Work with Google and Salesforce teams to identify opportunities to streamline communications.
