Responsibilities & Required Skills

As a Project Manager, you will have direct oversight and responsibility for the day-to-day management of Client Project engagements, including building a strong partnership with our clients.

  • Managing the end-to-end SDLC project lifecycle from project preparation, discovery, design, development, testing and successful project-closure
  • Lead, arrange and facilitate status meetings including Agile ceremonies where appropriate
  • Track and communicate team velocity and progress to all affected teams and management
  • Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution to improve team productivity while promoting continuous improvement
  • Ensure that daily tasks status and hours are being updated by the team on internal systems to provide transparency
  • Monitor project resources, tasks, risks and milestones, and course-correcting when necessary using defined change control procedures
  • Provide ongoing coaching to the teams on usage and applications of multiple project management disciplines
  • Develop and maintain project plans for multiple simultaneous projects and task dependencies
  • Effectively leverage tools to facilitate project success, including documenting and managing risks, issues and actions
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meeting scope requirements of key stakeholders, and with high quality results and customer satisfaction
  • Provide timely communication of project status and issues to both client and internal stakeholders
  • Highly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high quality projects
  • Work effectively with resource managers to identify project resources; define and assign project roles and monitor progress
  • Take leadership of team and serve as the main point of contact for customers and team-members
  • Ensure timely customer success through strong project leadership, organization and communication
  • Contribute to the company’s capabilities through improved processes, templates, etc.
  • Develop quality deliverables and provides guidance to others on deliverables

Qualifications

  • Great customer-facing skills, professional presence, and entrepreneurial attitude
  • Strong desire to drive customer success
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, highly organized, strong attention to detail
  • Analytical – be able to successfully manage technically and organizationally complex environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with both customers, consultants and engineers
  • Knowledge and experience with formal delivery methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall)
  • Strong desire to learn new industries and technologies
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team with professionals at various levels
  • Able to travel up to 30%
  • Bachelor’s degree minimum. Technical degree and/or MBA a plus
  • 2+ years applied Project Management

Nice to have:

  • Consulting industry experience, including direct experience successfully managing projects
  • PMI Membership and applied strategy for continued learning and teaching frameworks
  • Salesforce.com administrator, consultant or developer certifications a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or other similar CRM solutions. Strong familiarity with cloud technologies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
