You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth. Our Information Technology Development team helps develop and supports internal information technology systems and applications for use by all staff levels. You’ll help our team develop programmes and applications that cater to PwC’s strategic technology needs using your knowledge of technical domains of application.

- Understanding of our primary Cloud Service Provider offerings, Salesforce ecosystem, and understanding of other cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure;
- Applying a consultancy mindset as it relates to developing and offering creative and effective solutions to troubleshoot problems and/or business issues;
- Emphasizing the understanding of business functions and architecture deployed globally of Industry and Firm IT services;
- Understanding the specialization required to deliver enterprise-wide services as well as manage the competing demands for IT resources;
- Operating within an enterprise organisation to deliver IT infrastructures emphasizing quality and consistency across all areas that focus on several of the following areas: Cloud Hosting Services including Infrastructure as code, infrastructure operations, software development methodologies, and DevOps;
- Contributing to operational initiatives for Cloud Hosting Services, including Servers, PaaS and IaaS, Storage, Development and Tools including national and international locations;
- Assisting internal customers on consuming the Global Cloud Service, including deploying IaaS and PaaS servers and providing guidance on features and functions that have been approved for use;
- Supporting continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI\CD) pipelines and consuming custom application programming interfaces (APIs) and providing guidance on features and functions that have been approved for use to assist internal customers on integrating and using the Global Cloud Service;
- Working with team leaders and managers within operations to deliver a consistent and available service;
- Complying with change control processes and adhering to standards and documentation;
- Adapting to rapid changes in order to support and use future technology;
- Complying with all aspects relating to policy and guidelines of the Information Security Policy;
- Overseeing the collation of data and the distribution of daily and monthly operational reports;
- Utilizing interpersonal and organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines, working in a team environment, following written policies and procedures, and maintaining customer service at all times;
- Performing all related job functions, following established processes and procedures in order to preserve the confidentiality of information from unauthorized disclosure; and,
- Protecting the integrity of information hosted and managed by the PwC IT Service Co. from unauthorized or accidental modification, and protecting the accuracy and completeness of this information.
