Title: Release Manager

Location: Temecula, CA 92591

Duration: 7 months/ W2

Responsibilities:

• Manage release schedules and milestones
• Manage change control processes for the releases
• Continuously improve release processes
• Implement best practices consistent with an agile development methodology
• Define and manage release readiness and success criteria based on business requirements
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks and remove obstacles to release
• Guide the completion of root cause analysis to ensure issues do not recur
• Communicate plans and status, and escalate issues as required
• Lead and mentor in the continuous improvement and documentation of all build and release processes/procedures.
• Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications
• Testing the stability and functionality of the application
• Ability to understand potential impacts of changes to existing capabilities / perform risk assessments

Requirements:

• 5+ years of IT Release Management experience in software release management
• Experience working with virtual / off-shore development teams
• Experience implementing source code repositories
• Extensive experience with custom objects
• Strong understanding of Sales Cloud and force.com platform functionality
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com developer toolkit including Force.com IDE, Migration Tool
• Excellent oral & written communication
• Previous work experience with application and software development
• Experience developing customer-facing interfaces using Lightning components
• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms
• Proficient in SOQL, Apex, JavaScript and VisualForce
