Description

The Solutions Engineer creates and enhances integrations between Salesforce and external systems utilizing the Mulesoft platform. He/She collaborates with business and software development teams to understand data schema and integration needs and utilizes their expertise in relational and non-relational database platforms and frameworks to implement applications solving data storage and integration needs.

Requirements

Work in an agile work environment.
Plan and complete work by defining technical requirements from user stories in conjunction with business and technical staff.
Produce design diagrams, class diagrams, UML diagrams, data flow diagrams, and similar documentation.
Design, build, deploy, and maintain databases, reports, and dashboards.
Design and implement Analytics and BI platforms.
Design, build, deploy, and maintain integrations and data synchronizations between non-contiguous and complex internal and external enterprise systems.
Mentor and guide entry level staff members in standard procedures and best practices.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in information technology, computer science or similar preferred
Must have at least 3 years of detail oriented experience in the field of information technology or computer science
Requires at least 1 year of experience with Mulesoft platform and integrating systems
Intermediate knowledge or 2 years' experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Java
2 year of experience with Salesforce platform required
Intermediate experience with complete Software Development Lifecycle
Skills/Competencies:

Expert integrating enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Sitecore, and ServiceNow
Cursory knowledge of the proprietary Salesforce object-oriented programming language, Apex, preferred
Ability to communicate abstract concepts to non-technical staff
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
