Salesforce Developer

The Salesforce Developer position will be part of designing, building, deploying and debugging Salesforce across all aspects of functionality. This position will be responsible for investigating needs, effectively collaborate with project team members to develop high quality Salesforce components and be a well-rounded resource that contributes to the organization’s success. The candidate needs to be self-starter and able to make right technical decisions with minimal supervision. Should be a good collaborator across various organizational verticals.

This position will report to the Director of Software Development.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Design, build, test, deploy and maintain robust solutions in Salesforce Lighting.
• Collaborate with colleagues in design and code reviews.
• Develop integration processes using Salesforce Web Services API, third-party integration tools and middleware.
• Provide integration solutions between corporate systems including SaaS, On Premise and Salesforce, using SOAP, Rest APls and middleware.
• Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues.
• Research and development of new Salesforce.com prototypes and applications.
• Research and keep current on force.com technologies and communicates trends and future needs from a business perspective.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of applications.
• Experience writing and troubleshooting Visualforce, Lightning Components, Apex classes and triggers.
• Strong understanding of Workflow, Process Builder and Flow to deliver varitasks.
• Work on Configurations, Customization, Enhancements and Developments as per the business requirements
• Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment and provide functional knowledge of Salesforce.com data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements.
• Participate in the planning and analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements.
• Partner with business analysts and project management to understand requirements and provide scalable solutions in alignment with business technology strategy and architecture.
• Ability to manage heavy workloads and projects, many on a time-sensitive basis while still maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Salesforce Development; 7+ years of software development.
• Functional knowledge of Salesforce.com data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce interface designs for external interchange of data.
• Solid understanding of version control, branching, check in, and merge conflicts. Proficiency with Version control systems like GIT and Subversion.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment best practices.
• Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API.
• Must have good hands-on experience writing and troubleshooting Visualforce, Lightning Components, Apex classes and triggers.
• Strong understanding of Workflow, Process Builder and Flow.
• Understanding of HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL, JSON, CSS, Java and REST-based web services.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment and able to change priorities as business needs shift.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with the following is preferred:

Working knowledge of RDBMS and SQL.
Diagnose and troubleshoot software, applications and integrations.
Using middleware and integration platforms (e.g. Talend, Mulesoft).
Developing front end solutions in Salesforce (Lightning Web Components, etc).
Minimum 6 years of software development experience
Management of Salesfore.com sandboxes, including their integrations
Salesforce Platform Developer II
Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification
Salesforce Lighting Component Framework Specialist
Salesforce Lighting Experience Specialist

Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (preferred).
