What you’ll be doing…

As the Partner Operations Director you will be a conduit for the Partner Team to Central Sales Operations within Tableau to ensure that all deliverables are met. You will own leading the definition of goals for the partner team ensuring these are built into Tableau and performing measurements and analysis. This person will also own the Partner forecasting process including working with Sales Operations and Partner Leadership to provide visibility. You will team cross functionally to define and manage the partner crediting and audit actions as well as play a key role in the integration of Tableau into Salesforce.

Some of the things you’ll be doing include…

  • Establish goals, plans and related metrics, track progress, and operate through obstacles to achieve program objectives.

  • Define requirements for creating reports and dashboards for critical metrics to illustrate progress against goals to support team activities and report to management on weekly/monthly basis.

  • Own the collation and management of the forecasting rhythm for the Partner Team globally.

  • Lead the Data Strategy working cross functionally with the Data Strategy team owning the definition of the guidelines and best practices for managing and maintaining data and manage ongoing reviews.

  • Manage the partner crediting and audit process, defining and communicating the process and working with the Sales Process systems to ensure system structures are in place.

  • Partner with Sales planning to drive partner planning during annual planning cycle globally coordinating submissions through the systems.

  • Play a key role in the integration of Tableau into Salesforce for the Partner team working with Salesforce as well as Tableau Worldwide Partner leadership including the transition to Salesforce’s CRM instance.

Who you are…

  • Experienced. 10+ years experience, including 4+ years of experience as a data analyst in consulting, finance, sales operations, or product management. Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus.

  • Domain. You’re an expert in the partner business and partner operations. You have the ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic work environment and can multi-task and keep on top of priorities while accomplishing the details of the task at-hand

  • Cross-Cultural Leadership. Experience in leading critical, cross functional projects.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts and information to a broad audience

  • Technical. Experience with SQL and Tableau (or similar BI platforms) a plus

  • Problem Solver. A natural leader with an ability to build things from scratch. A knack for creating structure wherever its needed.

  • Performer. Experience at a top-tier management consultancy or investment bank, in a product management role, in a sales operations role, or in a similar business operations capacity at a technology firm.
