Salesforce Administrator
Position Summary
The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for administering Salesforce within the Data, Analytics, Technology and Strategy team with the Global Marketing Group. The scope of this role covers all stages of an initiative from gathering requirements, development, testing, training, deployment and on-going support. This person will report to the Solution Architect and work with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Responsibilities
· Handle administrative functions within Salesforce including but not limited to user maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, process builders, and the addition of new features and capabilities.
· Complete internal system audits, monitor overall health and performance and prepare for releases.
· Proactively address user concerns.
· Act as a liason to the users and the development and engineering team.
· Manage the user feedback loop and recommend enhancements to be considered for release.
· Document business and development requirements.
· Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development efforts.
· Contribute to the development of documentation such as functional and technical design specifications.
· Develop training content, perform training of new users, and grow the Salesforce skill set
Qualifications
· Analytical thinker with strong problem solving skills.
· Ability to handle and prioritize multiple requests at one time.
· Ability to translate user requests into requirements and assess the impacts on Salesforce, applications, systems and processes.
· Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud functionality and best practices.
· Strong data management skills.
· Proficiency with Salesforce.com including the ability to build custom apps, profiles, objects, permissions, reports, dashboards, formula fields, page layouts, process builders, web-to-lead, lead assignment rules, and other administrative content.
· Experience installing and configuring Salesforce AppExchange applications.
· Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder or other relevant Salesforce certification preferred.
