Responsibilities:
- Understand all aspects of system configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to ongoing releases
- Configure and maintain custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, process, flows, custom workflows, approval processes, installed packages, etc. within Salesforce.com.
- Provide ongoing support and administration for Salesforce.com users including user setup, permission set assignments, public group assignment, security settings, access settings, queues assignment, updates, freeze/unfreeze and deactivation, for a broad user base
- Assist with operational projects: analyze opportunities, present findings, develop action plans, and act as part of the ongoing team to translate recommendations into result.
- Implement changes consistent with change control policies with regard to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, data integrity, etc.
- Manage the integration of applications connected to Salesforce.com.
- Identify production risks and areas for improvement; prioritizes, designs and facilitates successful implementation of solutions
- Collaborate with Business Operations, Information Technology and other business stakeholders to drive high levels of data integrity and operational reliability business analytics, tools and processes. This includes building and maintaining reports and dashboards.
- Assist with data quality projects, including developing automated data cleansing routines as well as manual data clean up.
- Manage data imports, database de-duping and cleanup.
- Develop and implement training for end-users. Create and maintain training materials and guides for processes related to Salesforce.com business applications.
- Create and maintain system documentation and Salesforce policies/procedures
- Monitor new Salesforce release features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Effectively communicate to business stakeholders and IT staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Salesforce Certified Administrator preferred
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator a plus
- At least 3+ years prior experience as a Salesforce Administrator managing an Enterprise edition (or above) installation with a large user base (preferably hundreds)
- Lightning, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud experience required
- Community Cloud, Pardot, and CPQ experience a plus
- Demonstrated experience in developing custom objects, workflows, validation rules, processes and flows in Salesforce
- Deep understating of Salesforce security controls and sharing settings
- Ability to identify areas for process improvement and recommend/implement solutions.
- Proven creativity and problem-solving skills; ability to work around obstacles and solve problems with minimal direction.
- Strong understanding of data structures and data modeling.
- Ability to develop effective relationships with business users, technical staff and executive management.
- Strong organizational/time management skills; ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with Field Service Lightning mobile App configuration, Flows, and Data Loader preferred.
