Responsibilities

Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Administrator in a high-growth practice. You will be a key contributor on the consulting team that delivers the overall solution design, configures and develops the Salesforce platform, and authors supporting documentation during implementations. You will also be responsible for ongoing configuration changes and maintenance of client deployments. The Administrator will understand business needs for features in Salesforce; make recommendations on how to satisfy those business needs; implement leading practices in Salesforce and make any needed changes for enhancements and defects. As a key team member on the project, you will assist customers in the implementation, maintenance, and support of Salesforce solutions using our adaptive-agile methodology.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Participate in declarative system configuration
  • Own user set-up and permission management tasks
  • Provide technical and functional expertise to clients and project teams
  • Demonstrate solution functionality to stakeholders as needed
  • Design and participate in end-user acceptance testing and training
  • Perform impact analysis for scope change requests, document changes to requirements, configuration, and data mapping
  • Assist Business Analyst in training content development and Administrator and end-user training delivery
  • Address, report and prioritize user requests
  • Conduct data migration, translation and cleansing
  • Document system configuration and administrative processes
  • Manage third-party installed packages and integrations
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases, features and best practices
  • Work with the Guidehouse Project Managers to manage a project to scope, budget and timeline expectations

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering - or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred
  • 2+ years experience administering or consulting with Salesforce, preferably at an established implementation partner
  • 1 to 3 current Salesforce certifications (Admin, App Builder & Sales/Service/Community Clouds)
  • Demonstrated experience using process builder, sharing rules, workflow, formulas, and report and dashboard building
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data migrations to and from Salesforce
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Great teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to handle increasing responsibility over time
  • Innovative, creative and logical; can translate user requests into deployable solutions
