As our global footprint continues to grow, we are looking for a Salesforce Administrator / Business Systems Analyst with a focus on Salesforce administration to join our team in Northbrook, IL. The Salesforce Administrator / Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting multiple Salesforce Orgs and related applications. You will gather and document business requirements, develop current and future process definitions while performing project and change management activities. In addition, this role will be doing the configuration and testing in both our Salesforce and FinancialForce Professional Services Automation (PSA) environments.
What youâll learn & achieve::
  • Provide functional/technical support for Salesforce/PSA enhancements, including but not limited to system configuration, process building, complex formulas, data maintenance and system maintenance.
  • Maintain user profiles, role hierarchy, sharing rules and security settings.
  • Partner with the business users in understanding business process needs.
  • Develop the system requirements based on the business process needs.
  • Assist in project design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation activities.
  • Identify business gaps and inconsistencies and accordingly develop action plans.
  • Work with other IT teams to support Salesforce/PSA integrations with key applications.
  • Open and follow-up on service support tickets
  • Well versed on MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Review changes in upcoming releases of Salesforce; provide recommendations and documentation regarding features to implement
What makes you a great fit::
  • Bachelor's level degree in related discipline
  • Two (2) years minimum of Salesforce.com administration experience, certification preferred
  • Salesforce.com administration knowledge, including sales opportunity management and dashboarding and reporting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide support for multiple complex Salesforce Orgs
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and participation in multiple projects.
  • Demonstrable experience of FinancialForce PSA processes and applications.
  • Service Cloud and CPQ experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in maintenance operations preferably at an IT Services or related industry.
  • Demonstrated previous customer supporting roles.
  • Experience with business process/function/data that the system supports.
  • Proficient in understanding the application design, configuration / system setup and documentation of functional documents.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
