Job Description
As a Salesforce Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of Arm’s Salesforce Platform.
You will be a member of the Salesforce Platform Team and work as part of a group of designated Salesforce specialists in Arm. You will support the management of Salesforce support tickets received through service desk and delivery of system related projects. The Salesforce administrator will cover a full range of administrative tasks and take an active role in assessing, designing and delivering Salesforce solutions to support business needs. You will support the roll out of new features by documenting functionality as well as communicating to and educating users about system changes.
Responsibilities
- Providing support for the day to day management of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce CPQ and Community Cloud.
- Performing administrative tasks such as creating or updating fields, workflows and process builder, creation of reports and dashboards and managing data using data loader or other tools.
- Support data management activities to ensure a high level of data quality and integrity is continuously maintained.
- Communicate regularly with the SFDC designated Super Users to support them in their role.
- Managing new releases and helping to roll out new features and functionality as well as communicating to and educating users about system changes.
- Monitoring CRM health daily to uncover data integrity issues and/or opportunities for process improvement.
- Troubleshoot issues raised by users and provide prompt resolution. Escalate to team members within Salesforce Platform team or Salesforce Support as necessary.
- Facilitate workshops and other requirement gathering meetings.
- Create new and keep existing Salesforce related technical documents or training materials up to date.
- Assist in performing and executing functional testing.
- Providing expert support and liaising with Salesforce as necessary to answer queries and provide ad-hoc user training.
- Ensuring we keep to a principle of using Salesforces standard configuration over using custom code but providing expert advice when we need to customise.
Job Requirements
Essential Skills and Requirments:
- Minimum 2 years of Salesforce experience gained in a similar role.
- Salesforce Administrator certification is recommended (ADM201) as a minimum.
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, dashboards and reports and other content.
- Desirable Salesforce CPQ and DocuSign CLM experience.
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills in dealing with a range of customers, including senior stakeholders.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experienced in software development life cycle (SDLC) within an Agile environment.
- Experienced of using industry standard tools such as Jira and Confluence.
