3.4| ||Full-time|19 hours ago| Full Job Description Department Information The Office of Economic Development and International Trade (“OEDIT”) was created to foster a positive business climate that encourages quality economic development through the support of local and regional economic development activities throughout the State of Colorado. A comprehensive slate of programs within OEDIT’s divisions work together to offer economic development services for all Colorado businesses – new and expanding, traditional and emerging, small and large – including retention programs to ensure the continued competitiveness of Colorado’s economic base, and job training to keep Colorado’s workforce the best in the nation. Description of Job The Salesforce Administrator delivers solutions to the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) that provide efficiencies in State processes and enables customer access to OEDIT administered grants, tax credits, and incentives. The Salesforce Administrator participates in systems implementation and on-going maintenance and support of Salesforce and integrated systems including configuration, development, testing, documentation, and user support for CRM applications. The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for implementing and supporting the Salesforce platform that solves the business needs of OEDIT. This includes supporting applications for client tracking, program and grant administration, and reporting for all OEDIT divisions. This position is the liaison between Management, Operations, and users of the Salesforce platform. The Salesforce Administrator troubleshoots and works with end-users to ensure that applications meet their needs and keep pace with changes in program operations, policies and/or procedures. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Administration, Training, and Documentation Sets up new users with the correct roles, profile, public groups, and permissions Develops reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity Develops and maintains an understanding of application dependencies, workflows, integrations, and processes surrounding applications Develops and maintains documentation for all Salesforce processes, systems, and development. Develops and updates training materials for new hires and new processes Builds dashboards to reflect user activity Develops scheduled reports Regularly performs database deduping and clean-up procedures Serves as the liaison for all troubleshooting and Q&A from users Ensures configuration and adoption of new release features Assists in establishing cross-platform integrations Maintains broad knowledge of OEDIT-wide Salesforce development needs Works with the Office of Information Technology (OIT) on Salesforce issues Serves as OEDIT liaison with OIT and other State agencies regarding Salesforce integration with other state software platforms As needed, works with app developers to define, communicate, and manage process development and implementation of new applications and updates to existing applications Maintains and enhances the visual layout, workflow rules, and business logic to streamline and enhance business processes and improve user experience Contributes to the development and review of the CRM strategy and capability needed to meet the business requirements Grants Management Trains and guides program managers on the production of online grant guidelines and application materials Guides program managers in the use of Salesforce for panel review, scoring, award notification, and ongoing grant tracking Creates department-wide statistical and management reports for analysis by senior management Operations Trains new users on online operations system and maintains training documentation Updates online processes as state-wide changes occur Troubleshoots issues between State and Salesforce systems Creates department-wide statistical and management reports for analysis by senior management Integration of Salesforce Platform with OEDIT Websites Works with developers to integrate web initiatives and constituent interactions with the database Serves as point of contact with agency's web consultants for SFDC web integration Ensures message integration across CRM managed websites Vendor and Budgetary Responsibilities Works with Operations to establish and manage Salesforce expenses within budget Posts RFP for Vendor work as necessary Manages vendor work to stay within budgetary limits Manages developer procurement process to ensure advantages of economies of scale, single contract, and vendor screening Manages vendor invoices and routes to divisions for payment Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights Education & Experience A Bachelor's Degree in business, computer information systems, marketing or equivalent experience Certified Salesforce.com Administrator 3-5 years of functional analyst experience or technical development experience with SalesForce.com and CRM applications Experience with Development Apex, Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus Additional Salesforce Certifications such as Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Developer preferred. Senses and Responds to Urgency – At certain milestones and deadlines in program life cycles there is a very high need for quick responses to bugs and system failures. Administrator must understand these needs and be able to quickly and nimbly respond to critical, time-sensitive requests with a high degree of urgency.
