Job Description

The Salesforce Administrator will lead the administration, maintenance, and management of Salesforce EDA, Pardot, Communities, and related SF tools and 3rd party integrations. Reporting to the Executive Director of Strategic and Educational Technologies, the SF Admin is responsible for executing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of the CRM . The administrator will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop and deploy new business processes. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Salesforce analyst.
Qualified applicants residing outside of a 80-100+ mile radius from the LSU A&M campus may be eligible for a full-time remote work arrangement.
Job Responsibilities
Serves as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 130+ reports and dashboards. Manages all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks. (30%)
Completes regular internal system audits and prepares for upgrades. Manages Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations. Coordinates the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests. (25%)
Works with department management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, documentation, and change management activities. Assists in training of new users, and grows the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization. (20%)
Effectively acts as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development teams. Works independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements. (15%)
Documents processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables. Other duties as assigned. (10%)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years experience as a Salesforce Administrator. Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified.
Experience substitute: 1 year of experience as a Salesforce administrator.
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and functionalities. Proficiency in creating Salesforce profiles, allocating roles, and managing access. Knowledge of importing sales data and generating reports.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree
Experience with SF EDA. Other SF certifications. Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
