3.4| || Quick Apply |Full-time|9 hours ago| Full Job Description Independence, OH, USA ● Virtual Req #582 Wednesday, February 3, 2021 POSITION SUMMARY The Salesforce Administrator leads the ongoing creation, operation, implementation, and optimization of our Salesforce.com deployment in accordance with the business needs. Works closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes and support our core business process. Works closely to support departments including Sales Operations/Global Support Services, Sales Enablement, Marketing, Legal, Operations, and I.T. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator, and part Salesforce analyst. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of the CRM platform. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 50% - Actively manages the development of Salesforce technical solutions from creation, throughout operations and enhancements, up to retirement. Coordinates the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests Works with the management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities Works independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements Manages Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations / applications 50% - Provides day to day and ad hoc support for system users and internal customers. Serves as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 250+ users. Handles all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks Completes regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades Owns and assists in training of new users, and grows the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization Effectively acts as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development team Serve sas the technology resource for SIRVA’s Marketing Automation platform (Marketo) and owns all data integrity and processes between the systems QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes Previous experience supporting strategic sales and account management Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption. Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality Strong data management abilities A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements Communities and Portals experience preferred EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and/or appropriate certifications, OR 5 or more years of experience with business processes within or similar to those in place at SIRVA.
