Key Duties & Responsibilities: Serve as system administrator for the Salesforce environment Extend applications on the Salesforce platform via programming and declarative skills Create and update Salesforce security including roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, system level workflows and groups Troubleshoot system errors Manage Salesforce.com data feeds, other integrations and tools Configuration of integrated tools and systems Support business process mapping as needed Data guardianship (data integrity, bulk data cleanup, data governance, data prep and imports, and data standards) Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests. Work with members of the user community to establish suitable processes to support administrative, and development activities Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the department Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements Skills Required: Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills Excellent written and oral communications Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs Ability to enhance one’s programming skills to extend applications on the Salesforce platform Experience: Desired: Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified Understanding of the platform Understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality MITRE is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
