Job Title: Salesforce Administrator 

Location: Plantation, FL

Job-Type: Contract to Hire

Referral Fee: $200+ / month

Employment Eligibility: Gravity cannot transfer nor sponsor a work visa for this position. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer directly (we are not open to contract or “corp to corp” agreements).

Position Overview:

Gravity is looking for a Salesforce Administrator to handle project management, application design, and reporting for our client. This person will be responsible for overall project management of the Salesforce application within operations.

The successful candidate will work with client services Vice Presidents to analyze the needs related to business functions and build solutions into the Salesforce application. This person will work with the central services team to evaluate work process in use and transfer into sales, inclusive of building workflows, alerts, and reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Overall management responsibility for the Salesforce application
  • Administration of the Salesforce.com instance, manage user permissions/roles, fields/relationships, workflow rules, approval processes, page layouts, security, validation rules, lead assignment rules, email alerts, custom buttons/links, etc
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Leverage comprehensive understanding of salesforce.com products and platform to provide relevant adoption and technical recommendations on solutions and enhancements customized to customers' business needs
  • Assist users with report design and management
  • Support users through effective data management, such as: Extract, Transform and Load (ETL)
  • Work with various functions and end users to identify, document, and communicate standard business processes as they related to the database
  • Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the platform to support additional business processes or functions
  • Understand, maintain, and enhance business processes that are implemented in Salesforce.com
  • Ability to program workflows
  • Develop and Analyze key performance measures
  • Initial and post project justification tracking and data support
  • Work collaboratively with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to manage other support related projects
  • Proactively analyze data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Provide timely and comprehensive verbal and written status reports
  • Reads and abides by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs
  • Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company
  • Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so
  • Reads and abides by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs
  • Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company

Required Experience & Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Ability to create summary reports for tracking and trending the Operations process
  • Fluent in Salesforce Excel and Access
  • Understanding of accounting concepts
  • Ability to create and work with database reporting
  • Good organizational skills
  • Communicate and work well in a team environment
  • Meet established production and quality goals/metrics
  • Follow up in a timely manner on open items
  • Able to effectively prioritize work on a daily basis 
  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University and 3-5 years of related experience
  • Salesforce Certification Preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel capable of working with formulas and pivot tables, and ability to create Access databases
