Salesforce Administrator: Information Technology Overview Job Summary:

The Salesforce Administrator will be a key contributing member of the implementation team. They will drive system development/build-out both as a team member and independently. After implementation, the Salesforce Admin will have the overall responsibility of technical support, interconnectivity between Salesforce and other systems, coordination of user permissions, report development and change requests. The SA will also be responsible for licensing needs of Salesforce and any third-party applications that interface with it. Will act as a subject matter expert for the business process owners and system users and present new ideas on how to further enhance existing processes and to build new/migrate exiting processes into Salesforce. Will also need to liaise with external vendors like Salesforce and Exponent Partners.

Due to the nature of the work/workload will need to occasionally work beyond the 35-hour work week or can shift hours.

Under the supervision of the Application Support Manager, this position is responsible for all areas of Salesforce that includes testing, design, integration, automation and analysis to the business process owners.

Major Duties:
  • Transformbusiness objectives and functional requirements into technical Salesforce solutions.
  • Interfacewith end user and to understand feature requirements and/or address support issues and work collaboratively with our business process owner teams on more complex requests & issues.
  • Manage profiles, roles and security within the Salesforce instance.
  • Maintain & Enhance visual layouts, workflow rules and business logic to enhance business processes and improve user experience.
  • Migratedata from our existing systems into our Salesforce database.
  • Lead and maintain data integrations with 3rd party software used across the business
  • Createdocumentation, maintaining standardization and looking for ways to continuously improve processes & procedures.
  • Develop, launch, and manage in-depth dashboards and reports for all team functions at both management and individual levels in conjunction with the business process owners.
  • Workwith Salesforce.com support to troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth operation and performance of the platform.
  • Remaincurrent on Salesforce.com best practices and technologies and advise on these practices for Salesforce based solutions.
  • Act as subject-matter expert for Salesforce and seek out ways to utilize CRM to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support a program scaling at a rapid pace.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Three (3) Five (5) years' experience as a SFDC Administrator.
  • Exponent Case Management (ECM) and NSPS experience desired.
  • BS in computer Science preferred.
  • Exceptional technical and functional proficiency in Salesforce administrative tasks including, and not limited to: Profiles, roles, security, workflows, validation rules, approvals, advances formulas, custom objects, reports and dashboards.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce API's.
  • Ability to learn and manage Salesforce apps and integrators, like Workato and Forms Titan.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to write technical and non-technical documentation.
  • Organized and able to track/report on multiple tasks.
  • Experience with agile development process and system development life cycle is a plus.
  • General knowledge of programing practices and languages including PHP, PowerShell, SQL etc.. a plus.
  • Certification(s) in Agile, scrum, or other software development practices, a plus.
