We are looking for a seasoned, sales-driven business development professional in the Digital Marketing or Customer Experience solutions and services industry to drive the Alliance between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sitecore across EMEA.
What you'll be doing:
- Act as the liaison to help facilitate and accelerate the sales velocity between Sitecore CMS and Salesforce Marketing Cloud organizations
- Manage relationships and serve as primary corporate contact with key Salesforce Marketing Cloud sellers across EMEA.
- Build and execute joint cross regional business plan that create value for Sitecore and Salesforce Marketing Cloud while creating opportunity for the regional sales teams across EMEA.
- Collaborate with marketing teams in both organizations to drive demand-generating initiatives.
- Align sales and marketing resources and activities across regions, and drive target account planning.
- Build, plan, and execute on combined Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sitecore Experience Platform sales and technical competence growth with Sitecore implementation partners.
- Maintain sales geography activity and performance reports.
- Facilitate quarterly and annual business reviews with senior management and executives in each major Salesforce office across EMEA.
- Meet and exceed defined sales, marketing and customer success objectives.
- Will facilitate and coordinate efforts to deploy enablement into the SFDC field organization and participation in selected SFDC field marketing events.
- Direct interaction with field alliances managers, sales management and field marketing management is important.
- Working across both Salesforce and Sitecore sales organization, assist with the management and information required to provide visibility into pipeline
Experience you may need to kick start your career with Sitecore:
- 7-10 years in the marketing technology industry.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of the Salesforce organization, preferably, the Salesforce Marketing Cloud business unit. The ideal candidate will have recently worked at/with Salesforce and know the individuals in leadership positions within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud sales team.
- Must have direct sales, partner, alliance or business development experience and understand the dynamics of an enterprise software sales organization.
- Must have strong sales process experience to be able to share pipeline reports, forecast and help coordinate account targeting between Salesforce and Sitecore.
- Must be “student of the industry” for Digital Marketing and understand the dynamics of the customer and how the offerings of Salesforce and Sitecore address those needs.
- Must be familiar with subscription and cloud software sales.
- Must be comfortable to operate and present to large groups of sellers and customer as well as at the ability to present at the senior executive levels.
- Experience managing technology partnerships with either global System Integrators, Consultancies or Digital Agencies.
- Possess high commercial and technical acumen to create, maintain and grow relationships throughout an Alliance organisation – from sales, marketing, and solution development & delivery teams to C-level executives.
