MRM is looking for a Salesforce Alliance Director to join our team. The Alliance Director will be responsible for expanding all key relationships with Salesforce. This position requires a background in the digital arena including Content Management, Commerce and Marketing Automation, credibility in front of sales executives and C-level audiences, contract negotiations, and experience managing channel relationship management, mediation skills and issue resolution.

 

The responsibilities breakdown into three primary categories:

  1.    Business Development
  2.    Marketing and Events
  3.    Training and Enablement

 

1.     Business Development

  • Increase new business pipeline and generate and support organic and net-new leads that convert into revenue
  • Oversee relationship management, outreach, visibility strategies and tactics (this role should *know everyone*)
  • Identify beneficial third-party platforms that support strategic platforms
  • Map Account Opportunities to Sales Reps
  • Schedule and coordinate QBR’s with sales teams
  • Support lead generation and business development (before RFPs)
  • Support contract negotiations, as needed for tricky deals
  • Identify competition and push our value proposition
  • Register leads and deals so we get credit (we can win something and not get credit or get credit and now win)
  • Cross-sell/up-sell into other products/clouds

 

2.     Marketing and Events

  • Manage spend of accrued marketing funds (as provided by licenses), including:
  • Public Relations
  • Speaking engagement identification and coordination
  • Events and conferences
  • Awards and recognitions calendar and coordination with platforms
  • Case study, asset generation, white papers, and POV’s

 

3.     Training and Enablement

  • Coordinate training and certification programs
  • Own criteria hitting established partnership criteria
  • Serve as escalation point for platform or relationship issues

 

Experience Required:

  • 7+ years of experience
  • NY preferred
  • Extensive experience with platform sales/channel management, with preference for Salesforce
  • Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Solutions selling skills and demonstrated success developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Conversant in enterprise product, solution and technology strategies with the ability to convert current knowledge and skills to Salesforce ecosystem
  • Ability to communicate effectively across teams with strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • High energy level and ability to work independently
  • 25% travel may be required
