As part of University Advancement's Information Services team, the Salesforce Application Administrator will focus on the configuration, maintenance, enrichment, and smooth function of the University's Advancement (Fundraising and Alumni/Donor Relations) Salesforce CRM. This job will support-and act as an extension of-the office's System Administrator.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
- Implement Salesforce configuration changes including those pertaining to Lighting Components, Dashboards, Pages, Layouts, Objects/Fields, Permissions, Work Flows, Process Builder, and Flows
- Install, configure, and maintain Salesforce applications, most specifically and frequently pertaining to our lead application, UC Innovation's Ascend
- Configure and maintain data connection with Marketing Cloud
- Monitor, report, and resolve integration, process, and application errors
- Perform light Apex coding changes necessary to meet business needs
- Promote configuration changes from the sandbox to the production CRM environment
- Work with the Training Design and Instruction team to manage Permissions and Roles for Advancement users
- Assist in the creation of reporting within Salesforce as necessary including native Salesforce Reports, Conga, and embedding Tableau visualizations
- Backup the System Administrator in their daily critical tasks related to such things as system backups, error monitoring, and occasional desktop support
- Extensive use of Outlook, Teams, Zoom, Skype and other applications to efficiently and effectively communicate with colleagues and manage their own calendar and tasks

Minimum QualificationsRequires a bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalency with at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Preferences- Salesforce Certified Administrator certification
- Two years of Salesforce administration in a Lightning environment
- Experience with any of the following applications: Goodsync, Jitterbit, Ownbackup, or Copystorm
- Experience working in the field of Advancement (Fundraising and Alumni/Donor Relations)
- Experience administering Windows Servers
- Experience using Powershell and JavaScript
- Experience administering Oracle databases
- Experience administering Tableau Server
