Position Summary:
As a Salesforce Architect you will be responsible for designing and developing Salesforce solutions, developing platform roadmaps. You will also provide Salesforce technical leadership for the Citrix organization.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Lead assessments, which includes in depth analysis of the requirements, proposed architecture and level of efforts/cost. Will need to work with technology teams to come up with the holistic solution across the entire Citrix landscape.
- Advise business on the options and Salesforce out of the box features to solve their challenges and execute on their long-term vision.
- Own the full application design and development process that translates business requirements into functional solutions. Work closely with business and IT leaders to provide technical solutions to complex business needs. You explain complex technology concepts in simple language.
- Provide governance and best practices/standards supporting the full application development life cycle. You deliver detailed design proof-of-concepts, prototypes, in presentation and diagramming tools and in a sandbox environment, as needed.
- Design solutions with maximum usability while minimizing complex code and customizations. Document current and future state processes, and develop technical specifications for projects and enhancements.
- Will be required to hands on develop and configure changes and customization in Salesforce: design elegant, innovative Salesforce solutions involving: configuration of Salesforce and Managed Packages, creation and refinement of complex data models, external integration, business process automation, and other custom functionality
- Coach, guide and mentor 2 - 4 developers in accomplishing architecture, design and implementation goals. Track development deliverables and communicate their status to teams. Partnering with other IT and Salesforce team members on deployment.
- Project Management: Estimate engineering effort during various stages of project life cycle. Collaborate with project managers to identify project milestones, tasks, and required resources to develop a detailed project plan. Work with Manager to manage a project to scope, budget and timeline expectations.
- Second level support of internal and external users on Salesforce. Troubleshoot and fix complex reported issues. Document issue progress and resolution. Communicate with admin or users to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- Application Development Experience with years as Salesforce Developer/Architect
- Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite: Demonstrate a deep knowledge of all Saleforce.com product offerings and solutions.
- Salesforce development experience including strong working knowledge and ability to code APEX (classes, triggers and web services), Visual Force, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, and Force.com.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce application including configuration, triggers, process builders, workflows, visual force, apex coding, batch processes, and database design. Knowledge of Salesforce data model, custom objects, visual force pages, workflows, and configuration.
- Experienced in integration of Salesforce core systems and analytics.
- Sales Cloud experience
- Service Cloud experience
- Act independently as a top-level contributor in direction for major, complex programs intended to roll out high volume, high transaction based applications and features on Salesforce platform.
- Experience in designing and developing software components and having a very strong Service Oriented Architecture and integration background
- Salesforce Lightning experience
- Proficient in verbal/written communication skills
- Experience in Software requirements analysis and proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents
- Marketing Cloud - Journey Builder, Audience Builder, Contact Builder, Content Builder, Personalization Builder, Analytics Builder, Email Studio. Mobile Studio, Social Studio, Advertising Studio and Web Studio experience is preferred.
- Salesforce Certified Developer or Salesforce Certified Architect
- PMP certification preferred
- Einstein AI experience
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires mastery level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have deep knowledge of project management.
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 8 years; or PhD with 5 years of experience.
