Job Duties

As a Salesforce Application Architect at eBay, you will build and maintain platforms, applications, and processes to support our Business and Operations partners to include AML, Sanctions, and Risk. Your responsibilities include; Building, with a strong focus on User Experience, Design thinking, leading requirements interpretation to solution options, creating lightweight prototypes to demonstrate solution concepts, and providing process, technology guidance. You will create design, build solution components, unit test, guide testing strategy and play an active role in ensuring quality thought the lifecycle of processes automated with technology.

Qualification and Skills

• Experienced with Service Cloud UE (Unlimited Edition), Force.com, Salesforce Shield (field encryption, file attachment encryption, field history tracking, setup audit trail, event monitoring).
• Salesforce Communities experience.
• Extensive experience developing Lightning Components - both within the Salesforce Lightning Design System and by writing custom Lightning Components in Java Script within the Aura framework.
• Fluent in Apex with extensive experience developing custom Apex Classes and Apex Triggers.
• Fluent in Salesforce Query and Search Language (SoQL and SoSL). Limitations of languages and differences between SoQL and SQL.
• UX and UI design principles, with an eye for beautiful and intuitive user interfaces.
• Salesforce administration: Provisioning users, password resets, account freezing/inactivating.
• Profile and Role hierarchies with Object and Field level security in mind.
• Salesforce development platform and best practices.
• Multiple Salesforce Integration Patterns: SOAP/REST web services, APIs, batch processes, connectors, middleware etc.
• Salesforce Data Model and extending it to eBay databases.
• Salesforce Data Security/Sharing Model.
• interact with Salesforce via the SOAP or REST API’s.
• Salesforce APIs and their specific usages.
• Enterprise & Salesforce specific integration design patterns.
• Strong communication & presentation skills.
