Job Title Sales Force Business Analyst Location Austin, TX (Remote Initially) Position Type Contract No of Positions 1 Duration 12 Months + Job Description The Business Analyst is an Information Technology (IT) position and will be a part of the project to implement an application workflow process for the Long-term Care Architectural Review Unit, in the existing Regulatory Services Sales force platform, as well as tying into existing functionality with Texas.gov to receive application fee payments. This position will define the project requirements by establishing themes, epics, user stories and features that make up the product backlog. This position will assist with writing and executing test scripts. This project will be performed in collaboration with the Long-Term Care Regulatory Services program within the Health and Human Services Systemrsquos business domain. Responsibilities Gathering business, functional and non-function requirements. Defining product themes, epics, user stories and product features Facilitating prioritization sessions for the product backlog. Facilitating sprint planning sessions to establish a sprint backlog. Documenting requirements and system design using approved agency formats. Being a creative thinker to solve application issues. Mediating business units that may have conflicting requirements. Assisting in the translation of business requirements into detailed technical specifications Facilitating and documenting AS-IS and TO-BE process flows Writing test cases and scripts to validate code is working as documented. Years RequiredPreferred Experience 8 Required Experience with general IT SDLC processes. 5 Required Skilled in working on agile projects utilizing scrum 5 Required Skilled in extracting business, functional and non-functional requirements from business units and IT staff. 5 Required Skilled in test case planning and quality assurance reviews of test scripts. 5 Required Skilled in documenting AS-IS and TO-BE process flows. 5 Required Possess strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users including executive staff. 5 Required Skilled in mediating business units with conflicting and competing business requirements 5 Required Skilled in facilitating large group meetings with internal and external resources. 5 Required Skilled in educating business unit staff on agile and scrum terminology and processes. 4 Required Experience in writing data base queries and reports to analyzeverify the integrity of an application. 2 Required Experienced in establishing a sprint backlog 2 Preferred Skilled in the use of Jira for tracking agile projects. 1 Preferred Experience with Health and Human services 1 Preferred Experience with Long Term Care regulatory systems 1 Preferred Experience with Salesforce applications Reach me on O 6008 Email mailto
