The Salesforce Business Analyst I-II will facilitate requirement gathering, backlog/request management, and training support of all teams that utilize Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, Service Cloud and integration apps. They will define and document internal and external user needs, data requirements and definitions. They will act as the liaison for direct users to communicate and validate business priorities and system design for the Salesforce platform. Training, testing and deployment support for front line users is also a primary responsibility. This position is based at IJM Headquarters in the Washington, DC area and reports to the CRM Product Owner. Responsibilities: Engage with end users to gather and qualify requirements; Create clear documentation and guidance for development team and PO with backlog of requests that is complete with documented business need and acceptance criteria; Actively engage as a member of sprint team with assigned sprint responsibilities, configuration changes during sprints, UAT during deployments and communication/change management plan with PMO, to ensure 90% completion documentation, testing and user stories in sprint cycle; Design training curriculum for new users and super users on new functionality in key systems; Guide Business Super Users and other BAs to develop UAT scripts; Qualifies defects/enhancements, monitors ticket queue & escalates to System Administrators; Maintains low volume ticket queue and ensures clear tracking of new enhancement requests in the backlog; and Creates ad-hoc reports and KPI dashboards as requested by user groups or stakeholders. Produce accurate reporting for managers and for key KPIs. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of education, experience and certification; Experience writing UAT criteria or scripts for technical system requirements; High proficiency in Excel or with other data analysis tools preferred; 1- 3 years’ work experience in SDLC (3- 5 years’ work experience for Tier II); Experience in Salesforce or other Object-Oriented Database required (for Tier II); and Experience in an Agile work environment required (for Tier II).
