Senior Business Systems Analyst
Position Summary

Analysis & Management

Technical

• 2+ years’ experience developing solutions in salesforce CRM and the force.com platform.
• A mastery of click-to-configure functionality within salesforce. A general knowledge of the usage of apex and visualforce
• General knowledge of system integration workflow
• Experience with Salesforce Data Loader

Responsibilities & Duties

Analysis Abilities

• The SBA will be able to leverage their prior experience to perform process analysis sessions with the business independently and efficiently. They will be able to identify the critical details required to develop solutions centered around the salesforce platform and related platforms.
• The SBA will be comfortable generating business process documentation, including but not limited to, business process scripts, flow charts, swim lane diagrams, user stories and general long form assessments. They will be comfortable working at both high and low levels with various stakeholders. These skills will ensure that they are able to write user stories with supporting documentation which are sufficient for handoff to technical resources for delivery with minimal clarification.
• The SBA will leverage their general knowledge of enterprise technology solutions to guide their analysis work. They will be able to easily identify general technology solutions applicable to given business requirement areas and guide conversations appropriately.
• The SBA should be comfortable evaluating requirements as gathered and provide their own assessment of priority and importance of requests, based on previous experience. They will be able to act as a liaison between technical resources, system architects, project managers and business stakeholders.

Technical

• The SBA will be able to work independently to configure solutions within salesforce. They should have a mastery of click-to-configure aspects of salesforce, including standard application and force.com platform development, as well as general understanding of the application and usage of apex.
• The SBA should be very comfortable leveraging SOQL to support their QA and UAT work.
• While the ability to write code is not necessary, the SBA should be comfortable performing general assessments of and minor edits to existing code-based elements, such as visualforce emails or pages.
• A general knowledge of enterprise technologies used in conjunction with salesforce, such as: ETL Integration platforms, microservices, etc.

Project Management

• The SBA will be familiar with agile development methods and be able to work within a defined sprint cycle.
• The SBA will be able to work with business stakeholders to develop and maintain a roadmap of feature and functionality which will eventually be moved into the product backlog.

Education and Experience

• Salesforce Administration Certificate – Required
• Salesforce Service Cloud Consulting Certificate – Desired (not required)
• Four Year - BA/BS in Computer Science or Technical Degree – Preferred but not required
• Two years’ experience working within Salesforce as a System Administrator or Business User is required.
• Experience working in an Agile/Kanban Methodology is strongly desired.
