What You Will Do In Your Role

This position is within the Building Products IT team and creates long-term value by leading projects across web platforms based on requirements from marketing and sales team stakeholders.The ideal candidate will bring experience working within salesforce® communities to create digital customer experiences as well as a senior web development technical skill set.Proven delivery capability and the ability to drive internal bug and enhancement work to completion will be key to success in this role.This role will lead the build of a brand new B2B business portal using salesforce communities, as well as supporting our current custom built B2B business application. A day in the life would include:
- Working with business analysts and cross-functional stakeholders to solution and create brand new business systems within salesforce community’s platform.
- Serve as the technical owner of the salesforce.com® customer and partner portals (build using salesforce communities).
- Work with business analysts to translate business requirements into development user stories, building out technical tasks for offshore developers to execute against.
- Assist MuleSoft integration teams on custom API work to ensure the current and future B2B platforms are properly integration with the overall BP IT system architecture.
- Collaborate with other technical team members to understand, design, and develop brand new digital experiences for GP customers using industry best practices.
- Support business stakeholders by following proper defect ticket triage and SLAs.
- Provide technical guidance to US and India based developers and ensure proper communication of technical user stories, applicable system dependencies, and overall build requirements.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to ensure all recommended solutions and technical user stories meet Georgia-Pacific best practices and security standards.
- Continually increase both business and technical knowledge to deliver technology-based solutions that are aligned with our business strategies.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- BS Degree or similar full stack development training (full immersion bootcamp, General Assembly, etc)
- 4 years of full stack software development including experience with JavaScript, C#, and JSON.
- Experience building B2B focused portals within salesforce® communities
- Experience working with Bootstrap or similar web framework
- Experience with Windows, AWS, Linux, and Cloud Infrastructure Support
What Will Put You Ahead
- Azure DevOps experience
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology
- Experience working with offshore development teams
- Experience developing Web APIs
- Experience with Vue.JS
