Reports to: Managed Service Team Leader
Summary:
As a Salesforce Consultant within the Managed Service team, you will be responsible for delivering on customers’ business objectives through an agile monthly release cycle. This will include gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions, advising on Salesforce best practices, managing internal resources and liaising with specialist teams such as Marketing Cloud, A.I. and development
This is a wide-ranging role that requires strong technical skills and understanding, as well as stakeholder and project management, business analysis and solution design skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and understand business goals and objectives and run effective requirement gathering sessions.
- Designing high quality and scalable solutions to address the business problems faced by customers. Estimate effort required to complete these solutions.
- Both delivering complex configuration yourself and managing the delivery of these solutions to customers through the delivery team, plus other specialist teams such as development
- Providing consultancy to customers around SF best practices.
- Managing key stakeholders through the release cycle, ensuring the customer sees R.O.I. from their Managed Service.
- Managing multiple SF environments and defining the governance strategy with customers.
- Identifying Opportunities for 4C to implement new solutions for customers.
- Expected to act as a mentor to less experienced members of the team
Required Skills:
- 1-2 years Salesforce experience (as an administrator or involved in an implementation)
- Must be Salesforce Certified (ADM 201 and App Builder minimum)
- Ability to build functionality in a variety of Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Communities, etc)
- Experience of requirements gathering and translating into technical solutions
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently
- Confident managing a range of stakeholders up to C-level
- Project or stakeholder management skills
- Interest in CPQ would be beneficial
