Role Definition
We are looking recruiting a Salesforce Consultant to work with one of our financial services clients. The successful candidates will bring Salesforce experience and expertise for design and delivery of solutions for our client.
For this role there is an expectation of primarily working alongside the client onsite in Cirencester for the majority of each working week. There will be an opportunity for one and on occasion potentially two days of home working each week.
What You Will Do
- Work alongside the client, Salesforce appointed architects and the Intellect Salesforce development team through discovery, design and delivery of solutions.
- Liaise with stakeholders and teams throughout the product lifecycle to provide expert knowledge and guidance for design and delivery of solutions
- Provide mentoring, coaching and support to both the Intellect Salesforce practice (onshore and offshore) and to the client.
- Estimate work efforts required for each phase of a project; direct design, development, and implementation responsibility (with and without 3rdparty development support)
- Provide product and technical expertise when scoping complex projects and related integrations
- Primarily build Salesforce solutions using configuration. The intention is use clicks over code as every opportunity.
- When necessary be able to apply customisation of Salesforce using Apex and Visualforce
- Provide product and technical expertise when scoping complex projects and related integrations
- Review code and solution summaries where appropriate to ensure adherence to best practices and fit-for-purpose development
- Data migration & integration using data transfer tools (i.e. Talend, Mulesoft and AWS)
- Participate and lead internal and external learning and sharing activities, including conferences and technical presentations
- Maintain and develop certifications in selected salesforce products (i.e. Sales, Service and Financial Services Cloud, Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform Developer 1&2)
- Demonstrable growth mind-set; enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address business problems
- Integration monitoring, trouble-shooting, and future integration requirement assessment, design, and development
- Documentation and knowledge sharing; technical, business process, best practice, reference architecture, etc.
What you will bring to the role
- 5yrs + as a Consultant in a mid/large organisation.
- 5yrs + Salesforce Platform Design and Development Experience.
- Expert technical understanding and systems integration experience with Salesforce Platforms including Sales, Service, Financial Services, Community, Marketing and App Cloud.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), negotiating, decision making, problem solving, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Multiple Salesforce Certifications across Admin (Admin/Advanced Admin), Development (App Builder, Platform Developer) and Cloud (Sales and Service)
- Stakeholder management. Ability to convey technical information to all audiences with ease, as well as engaging and managing stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to gather business requirements working with the client, driving out answers to business problems.
- Strong understanding of how to build and support highly scalable and reliable solutions on Salesforce Platform
- Proven ability to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous technical issues
- Hands on experience of building Lightning components, Lightning Connect, Lightning App Builder, Lightning Scheme Builder and Lightning Framework.
- Hands on experience with Force.Com technologies.
- Hands on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Financial Services Cloud.
- Expertise in Salesforce workflows, UI design, reporting, dashboards and application roll outs.
- Hands on experience with both Agile (SCRUM, SAFE or LEAN) and Waterfall methodologies.
- Multiple Salesforce Project Deployments including release and environment management.
- Experience with full development lifecycle, code management strategies, advanced technical concepts, architecture and security approaches, capacity considerations and integration approaches.
- Experience with system configuration using workflows, approval processes, custom objects, validation rules, formulas, process builder, flows and data loader.
Desired Skills
- Experience of relational databases and data modelling.
- Good knowledge of Web Development (e.g. Java, Javascript, SOAP, Restful Services, HTTP etc).
- Experience with version control tools (e.g. Github, BitBucket).
- Experience of continuous integration tools.
- Hands on experience of Salesforce integration with Mulesoft, Talend and AWS.
- Experience of Test Automation tools.
- Experience of delivering IT solutions to Financial Services
- A graduate degree is highly desirable.
