Overview

As a member of the Managed Services team, the Salesforce Consultant reviews enhancement requests from existing customers using Salesforce Cases and provides solutions, level of effort and works on Salesforce configurations, testing and evaluation to ensure quality, consistency and customer satisfaction. He/she assists with definition of scope and objectives as well as testing and implementation of enterprise-wide systems across functional areas for customers. The consultant will work with Fonteva on-shore and off-shore developers to design and document custom solutions.

Since this role requires you to build solutions on top of existing Salesforce solutions, you must have hands on experience in implementing Salesforce projects. Further, because this is a customer-facing role, the consultant must be able to communicate well on phone and emails with customers of varying technical abilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Using Service Cloud, triage Cases, review customer requirements and provide level of effort
  • Use Salesforce native tools and build configuration solutions such as fields, object, reports, dashboards, process builders, etc.
  • Work with developers to modify the existing solution based on new requirements
  • Collaborate with developers to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirements
  • Use technical expertise to design, develop (program), test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Force.com platform and third-party integrations with Salesforce.com
  • Participate in key meetings with clients including requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end-user training
  • Perform product upgrades, re-implement solutions to move customers away from customizations into the core out of the box product features
  • Work with Customer Success Managers to provide updates to customers, clarify requirements and level of hours

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of enterprise experience including in-depth knowledge of the Salesforce.com platforms configuration, architecture, and implementation best practices
  • Bachelors and 3+ years of experience in the field of Business Systems or IT. OR Masters and 2+ years of experience in the field of Business Systems or IT
  • Prior experience working with offshore teams is a plus
  • Salesforce certification (ADM 201), or ability to attain certification within 90 days of employment required
  • Experience on at least one Salesforce implementation through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of Agile Development Methodology a plus
