**NOTE: This position is remotely based from anywhere in the US**

The CPQ Solution Architect will be responsible for providing overall mentorship regarding strategies and techniques for the CPQ product solutions. Will be working with both Business and IT team members to detail and ensure product solutions support business needs, follow strong architectural principles, use system resources efficiently, and integrate cleanly with the user interface and server components of the CPQ application and technical architecture.

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Salesforce.com-based Quote-to-Cash suite of products, including CPQ (configure/price/quote), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).
• The ideal candidate will work closely with Business Stakeholders, in developing robust, scalable and flexible solution architectures for various customer projects including crafting prototypes, building proof of concepts, and preparing architecture roadmaps
• Be recognized as a functional specialist in CPQ and/or Contract Management CLM domain
• Perform hands-on solution design, solution architectures, architecture roadmaps, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and development tasks as the need arises in support of current and new projects
• Conduct Solution Architecture reviews with project teams prior to design and development activities and ensure solution is scalable, is aligned with internal product roadmaps and meets business requirements
  
  

Required Skills/Experience

• Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• 8+ years of technology experience with a consistent record in Salesforce implementations
• Ability to recommend standard methodology Salesforce solutions based on business needs and objectives
• Multiple Certifications (4+) in Salesforce within the sales domain, preferably CPQ and Communities
• Proficiency in Agile using JIRA with the ability to drive numerous high-quality releases into production fast
• Experience in enterprise solution engineering
• Ability to lead and communicate with a wide variety of team members and client roles
• Experience creating road maps and architectural reference diagrams
• Sound ability to provide level of effort estimates and coordinate prioritization efforts of Solution Architects and Integration Architects
• Competence in sophisticated Apex programming
• Provide system architecture visualizations
• Experience with web, database, object-oriented software technologies, SDLC methodologies and Salesforce.com or Force.com
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment with multi-functional teams
• Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
