Reports To: Senior Project Manager – CRM
Location: Columbia, MD
Position Summary: The CRM Software Developer will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable software solutions in the support and advancement of Ambu's US Commercial Operations infrastructure and strategic growth. He/she will work with business partners to realize the full capability of CRM through design and development of customizations, extensions, configurations, and integrations. Additionally, he/she will drive highly visible Vendor initiatives across the organization, including building applications on Vendor platforms and supporting integrations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Support US business objectives, stakeholders, and users by consistently delivering a high level of service
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Create detailed solution documentation and data flows
- Implement and maintain Salesforce/Dynamic CRM customizations (e.g. custom fields and objects, layouts, workflows, process builder, and validation rules)
- Perform system testing, participate in user acceptance testing, and maintain documentation
- Remain current with CRM technologies and best practices
- Follow and understand CRM product and technical capabilities resulting from product releases and acquisitions
- Coordinate with external vendor teams to build/extend and test functionality
- Work closely with the project manager, solution architect, business analyst, and other technical development team to ensure the integrity of the solution delivery while managing the expectations of the business user community
- Play an active role in executing the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment
- Perform ad hoc duties, as needed
- Initial travel to Ambu's Global HQ for training
Qualifications / Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, related degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years' work experience as a Salesforce Software and/or Dynamic CRM Developer
- Salesforce.com Platform Developer I or II certified and/or Dynamic CRM certified
- Knowledge of Salesforce permissions, roles, reports, dashboards, and logical formulas
- Excellent programming skills in Apex, VisualForce pages, components, custom controllers, test code classes, SOQL/SOSL query language or equivalent Dynamic CRM tools from Microsoft
- Knowledge of a non-APEX language, such as Javascript, with the ability to create SOAP/REST API functions
- Experience using IDE and Release Management tools
- Familiarity with databases, web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal form
- Proven success in developing client relationships and managing expectations
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving analysis
