Salesforce CRM Engineer
12 month fixed term contract

Harvey Nash is working in partnership with local Chesterfield organisation to source and secure an experienced Salesforce CRM Engineer, as they embark on an ambitious Digital & ICT transformation.
Chesterfield is home to around 105,000 residents, and of course the world famous ‘crooked spire’ church.
Our client plan to procure the latest technology, and use it to assist in the delivery of over 50 services they deliver across the region. Over the coming months and years, the organisation plan to deliver a number of exciting projects under structured methodology, giving staff modern and updated infrastructure.
The CRM Engineer will maintain and optimise the CRM components of the organisation's overall digital platform. You will be self-motivated, utilising technical skills to deliver incident response and continuous improvement based on a deep familiarity with the business objectives of users of the CRM.
Duties include:
* Identify opportunities to develop new business processes and improve existing ones in line with a continuous improvement strategy.
* Deliver updates for the Salesforce CRM e.g. case routing/ workflows, business rules and knowledge-base.
* Design and deliver strategic and operational data analysis and dashboards to key stakeholders.
* Act as a 2nd / 3rd line support for CRM issues logged by the Service Desk.
* Keep on top of emerging component capabilities for the CRM system, including its partner /apps / plug-ins community) and forward new suggestions on how these could be used.
* Minimise unplanned downtime by good practice (maintenance routines), preventing technical debt.
* Analyse trends in issues and requests and put in place pro-active measures to tackle the root cause and moderate reactive work, for example delivering targeted training to prevent accumulation of data quality problems.
* Work with colleagues to plan how the digital platform will evolve in response to changing requirements and new technologies / opportunities.
Essential experience:
* A strong understanding of CRM / Salesforce
* A driven approach to learning new skills and technologies
