RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client that is seeking a Salesforce Developer, Senior in McLean, VA. Summary: We need an experienced Salesforce developer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to help your customer overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches alongside deep Salesforce offerings. By creating and configuring solutions within Salesforce with consistent performance and scalability, you'll directly impact the client's mission by modernizing and automating various airman processes. As a Salesforce developer, you will work with a service management team on developing and configuring Saleforce's applications and solutions to implement system stakeholder requirements. You'll perform hands-on design, development, and modification to extend capabilities offered by Salesforce. You'll integrate with external systems and orchestrate IT automation. You'll administer Salesforce applications, including updating security and workflow configurations, integrating with external systems, importing data, creating custom scripts, and building reports. Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS degree in Engineering, CS, Computer Engineering, or IT
• Salesforce Certifications, including Administrator, Platform Developer 1, or Platform Developer 2
• 4+ years of experience with software design and development
• 2+ years of experience with Salesforce development
• Experience with Salesforce.com integration, including different business systems and working with integration tools
• Experience with programming using Salesforce SFDC, Apex, Force.com, Java, JavaScript, Visualforce, Lightning, SQL, Oracle, XML, and JSON or their use in the development of CRM solutions
• Ability to obtain Security+ CE Certification within 60 days of hire

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and participating in the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with requirements management and JIRE or similar RTM platforms
• Experience with creating quick proof-of-concepts for the customer
• Experience with coordinating between cross-functional teams
• Experience with AWS
