CURRENTLY WE ARE SEEKING A FULL TIME SALESFORCE DEVELOPER. POSITION IS OPEN TO REMOTE WORK.

The Salesforce Developer, reporting to the Director of Marketing, will lead the organization as CRM best practice and technical expert from headquarters in Harvey, IL. He/she will develop cloud-based applications through the Salesforce platform with an in-depth understanding of Sales Cloud, CPQ and the Lightning Experience. The Salesforce developer must possess strong knowledge of VisualForce and Salesforce development with experience using APEX.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements across multiple business units and global regions, synthesize, and develop roadmap for CPQ customization
  • Perform configuration, customization, and administration of the Salesforce.com platform and CPQ tool
  • Utilize best practices and provide technical assistance for operational support, enhancements, and bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform
  • Design and develop solutions using Apex programming language
  • Provide day-to-day end-user second level support and training for Salesforce Users.
  • Manage user profiles, roles, permission sets, assignment rules, and license types.
  • Onboard new users, provide training and documentation on how to use Salesforce.com
  • Create and customize standard and custom objects including fields (including formula fields), page layouts, security rules, workflow and validation rules
  • Customizations of reports, dashboards, workflows, process builder, flows, approval processes, outbound messages, knowledge
  • Monitor and improve data quality, integrity and user adoption.
  • Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation
  • Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in Salesforce development
  • 3+ years’ experience with CPQ systems
  • Direct experience working on CRM projects for global enterprise-sized companies
  • SFDC architecture experience
  • Certified Salesforce Developer
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using and rolling out Lightning Experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent.
  • Strong project management skills coupled with proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments
  • Demonstrated ability to influence organizational leadership, present concepts and roadmap, and manage/prioritize workload
