Description Metric5 is looking for motivated Salesforce Lightning Developers for a highly visible project with our DHSTSA customer. Required Skills 3-5 years of industry experience as a Salesforce developer 2+ years of experience with Lightning Component development Must have historical and proven knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, and Web Services Agile ndash SCRUM and Kanban experience Analyze business requirements and translate those requirements into solutions using the Salesforce platform out of the box functionality and customization when required Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices, and perform peer code reviews Salesforce implementation experience should include custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Aura or Lightning Components), integrations with back office systems (often through the use of middleware tools) and complex data migrations Experience in one or more of the following Salesforce Communities, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud Experience with integrating Salesforce with Third-Party external systems using APIs Position Responsibilities Must have hands on experience with Salesforce development Will be responsible for configuration, development, unit testing, and deployment of their assigned functionality Agile experience preferred Strong technical and development skills using Aura and Lightning Framework Knowledge of creating Salesforce.com data models and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the SFDC platform based on industry best practices as well as business needs Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in SFDC application Deliver support and solutions for breakfix issues Communicate and collaborate with Agile Lead and other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions Perform ongoing Salesforce administration (create accounts profiles, defining fields, updating layouts, reports, dashboards etc.) and development Ability to support Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as fieldpage updates, workflows, process builder, automated approvals Understanding and knowledge to develop 508 Compliant Components, Visualforce pages, etc. Desired Skills and Certifications Salesforce ADMIN and Force.com Developer trainingcertifications required Salesforce Advanced Developer certifications are highly preferred Knowledge of SFDX and GITJenkins configuration, setting up and configuring Scratch Orgs, and developing Lighting Web Components (LWC) Ability to create reusable lightning components Knowledge of deployment best practices which include Package.XML, Managed Package, and Test Classes Experience with integrating Salesforce with AWS Microservices or Azure Platform Education Bachelors in a Technical Discipline ndash Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree. Years of Experience 3+ years of experience or more Clearance Must be a United States Citizen and able to obtain a TSA public trust security clearance for this government position.
