FLX Distribution Salesforce Developer (PT/Contract)
FLX Distribution is a FinTech Company operating within Asset Management Distribution. FLX Distribution's innovative approach provides asset managers a cost-effective model to deliver their investment capabilities, while also providing distribution professionals a path to independence and financial freedom.

FLX Distribution is experiencing rapid growth and as such requires a Salesforce Developer who will help both develop our Salesforce solution as well as facilitate its use/train our team on usage and related best practices.

This role will work with our internal team as well as our external partners/vendor companies, to ensure the solution stays in line with the needs of the business as well as providing recommendations for the adoption of industry best practices and efficiencies.

The role will have responsibility for custom coding and report generation. Including meeting with team members to gauge field understanding of the system and specific needs, analyzing project objectives, coding new applications, creating workflows, maintaining user roles, and troubleshooting application errors.

While this is primarily a development position, the role will also function as our Salesforce administrator.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Recommend, implement, test, and deploy Apex classes and triggers
• Controlling the adaptability of API’s for integration of information and processes so data flows to 3rd party application and G/L
• Design & implement web-based interfaces
• Hands-on knowledge to build business processes using Salesforce flows and process builder
• Design and deliver solution-specific training and communication to business users
• Test and QA changes to Salesforce in sandbox and production deployments
• Understand and implement integration APIs to communicate with internal/external components
• Translate technical concepts and conduct complex interpersonal interactions often involving moderately to highly complex or technical topics
• High availability for error resolution and technical support
• Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct experience with Salesforce.com architecture components
• Experience in-depth Salesforce programming with MYSQL, Apex, JavaScript, Python, JSON, and Visualforce
• Strong knowledge of APIs (SOAP, REST)
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Experience developing customer-facing interfaces

• Salesforce Certifications (1+ required, developer certification preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technical area or related work experience
• Experience managing projects, timelines, people within a software or SaaS company a plus
• Experience automating workflow
• Strong commitment to system and process scalability as well as surrounding governance
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated - will do whatever it takes to ensure customer and company success

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $59,811.00 - $159,336.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Overtime
• Weekends
