Salesforce Developer

Location: Detroit, MI

Duration: 6 month contract to hire OR Direct Hire (C2H is strongly preferred )

Interview: Phone screen with HR and then video or in person with hiring managers

Start Date: ASAP

Open to junior level candidates for this role but must have had some level of experience with Salesforce Development.

Position Overview:

The Salesforce Lightning Programmer/Developer will research, design, develop, modify enterprise-wide systems and application software. You will be involved in the planning of system development and responsible for meeting software compliance standards. The Salesforce Lightning Programmer will evaluate interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of the overall system. In this role you will need enjoy working in a collaborative environment with other teams to create relevant integrations into the product with our existing tools. The role does not offer sponsorship employment benefits.

Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections

Define functional requirements; conduct a detailed analysis of alternative solutions; design complex system enhancements and interfaces; develop prototype systems to refine design and requirements; document design and detailed specifications; plan for configuration control, testing, security, and quality assurance

Participate in all aspects of software delivery model, Design, Development, Validation, Delivery, Maintenance

Perform system test and validations; verify system expectations and requirements; ensure system operation; perform enhancements and improvements

Ensure that all appropriate operating procedures, contingency plans, and security policies are followed on a routine basis

Position Requirements, Education and Experience:

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Degree in Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

3+ years of Salesforce Developer Experience (Apex, Visualforce & Lightning)

2 years SharePoint Development - Preferred

3 years .NET - Preferred

3 years Oracle PL/SQL - Preferred

Has implemented at least one migration from classic to lightning platform

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Ability to guide and drive Lightning adoption discussion

Proficient with out of the box lightning features

Working knowledge of the following development languages and environments is required: .NET languages such as C# and VB.NET.

Experience with the following software is highly desired: Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Microsoft Power BI
