Job Description
Responsibilities:
Deliver Salesforce solutions consisting of out of the box, AppExchange, and custom code to a user base of 4000+ users
Be able to multitask, commit to meeting targets with competing priorities and deadlines across multiple key stake holders
Ensure problem-free deployments to production, without any interruptions to business processes
Lead incident and problem resolution activities to minimize impacts on availability and performance
Provide automation thought leadership in scrum teams and optimize technical decisions to maximize scrum team velocity
Keep abreast of industry standards and newest development methodologies and tools
Create a data-driven culture with high standards of operational excellence and continuous improvemen t
Qualifications:
Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Demonstrate experience in a highly customized Salesforce.com environment - administering and customizing Salesforce.com Platform essential; workflows, automation, visualforce , apex, lightning components and integration
Ability to troubleshoot production incidents in complex, multi-application environments
Ability to leverage cloud environments, both Iaa S , and PaaS as well as open source tools
Ability to establish a data-driven culture and a repeatable, structured and disciplined approach to the full systems lifecycle
Education and Experience:
B achelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
4+ years experience delivering Salesforce solutions in an agile software organization
Experience in Continuous Integration (GitHub, Jenkins, etc ) is highly desired
Experience (supported by adequate certifications) in two or more of the following technologies sets:
Salesforce Development (Apex, Visualforce)
Lightning Development
REST based integration development with Salesforce
