Description
In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Salesforce applications, business process automations, reports, and dashboards and for supporting the implementation and integration of third-party solutions within our Salesforce org. In this role, you will effectively translate prioritized needs into well-designed scalable solutions. When our team considers possible solutions to a given problem, you will contribute ideas and recommendations to the discussion based on a combination of your understanding of the unique aspects of our organization and its needs with your past professional experience with different approaches and solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are required to isolate problems, recommend solutions and implement solutions. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
Building and maintaining business process automations using a variety of SFDC tools Building and sharing reports and dashboards with different internal groups Building and maintaining SFDC-based portals Building and maintaining Lightning Apps for each team Building and iterating on custom object schema and relationships to meet our use case Supporting the implementation and integration of third-party solutions within our Salesforce org Locking down permissions and tracking changes appropriately. Adhering to industry best practices for change and release management. Assisting, developing and maintaining training materials and training curriculum. Running and maintaining the day-to-day operation of our Salesforce org Helping other team members build and maintain integrations with external systems Practice continuous improvement by constantly monitoring systems and making recommendations or adjustments Building sophisticated reports in Salesforce to answer high-level business questions Performs other related duties as assigned that support the objective of the position. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Ability to effectively translate prioritized needs into well-designed scalable solutions. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong project management skills desired Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members Ability to prioritize a backlog and manage time efficiently Excellent oral and written communication skills Deep knowledge of declarative tools in Salesforce including all process automation tools Familiarity with HEDA An advanced understanding of Salesforce's data security model Demonstrate understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds, disability, and sexual orientation of community college students, staff and faculty. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of three years professional experience building with Salesforce Current credential as "Salesforce Certified Administrator" or "Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator" Desired Qualifications Additional Salesforce Platform Developer certifications a plus "Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder" credential Experience working with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Communities Experience working with external system integrations Experience with Agile methodologies, including working within a sprint framework.
