Our client is looking for a Salesforce Developer for a long-term contract opportunity in Austin, Tx. In this role, you will serve in a technical capacity for major CRM projects and initiatives, working with CRM team to design, document, and present options and to implement solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, create, and improve validation rules, custom workflows, Apex customizations, custom objects, fields, and formulas.

• Recommend, implement, test, and deploy new Apex classes and triggers.

• Design and run automated data imports, programmatic data mapping, and data transformation using best practices and tools.

• Work within DevOps to perform hands-on software development, unit testing, integration testing and other best SDLC practices.

• Perform configuration and customization of the Salesforce platform.

• Use best practices for continuous build, release, enhancements and bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce platform.

• Provide technical assistance for end-user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and "how-to" assistance.

• Develop and execute functional and regression testing, and perform data management responsibilities

• Work with development team to expose Salesforce data via API

• Perform sandbox maintenance and monitor and implement Salesforce updates. 

Qualifications:

3 years of Software development in Salesforce/CRM and in object-oriented programming, participation in each phase of full Salesforce life-cycle implementations.

3 years of Experience using Salesforce data tools (e.g., Data Loader, Eclipse Force.com IDE, Gearset).

Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1 and 2.

Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator or equivalent experience

Certified Advanced Developer or equivalent experience.

3 years of Salesforce Communities experience – preferred

3 years of experience with relational databases, data modeling, and ETL with Salesforce.- preferred

3 years of experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)- preferred

3 years of experience with API management and ESB deployment- preferred
