What You Will Do And Learn

We are looking for a Developer in our Salesforce practice. This is an exciting and challenging position where you will work closely with the cross-functional team to design and implement best-in-class solutions utilizing the Salesforce platform.

In this role, the ideal candidate will be able to:

• Independently design and develop solutions on the Force.com platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components
• Build and maintain test classes and code coverage for all development
• Accurately estimate the time required for yourself or others to complete particular assignments.
• Research, follow up, and resolve complex challenges faced by the team
• Able to present findings and recommendations either to the internal cross-functional team or to the client.
• Assist the practice leads in the evolution and refinement of delivery methodologies and best practices
  
  

Technical Skill Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in salesforce.com application development (Developers with only admin experience are not suitable for this role)
• Strong understanding of Salesforce.com capabilities and limitations across the Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds with a minimum of 2+ years’ experience as a developer in a complex Salesforce environment including two full projects from scratch to go live
• Strong communications, design and development skills, as well as the ability to review complex code bases written by others
• Able to contribute to work as both as a lead as well as an individual contributor
• Must have end to end exposure of developing apps, deploying apps, issues and limitations with the Force.com platform, salesforce governor limits, and how to address them
• Experience working on an Agile-based cross-functional project team
• Ability to understand, analyze and solve both explicit and implicit requirements
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills in a rapidly changing environment
• 4-year degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Candidates with Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II certification preferred
• Experience and expertise in Salesforce Quote to Cash or Salesforce CPQ (including the development of quote calculator plug-ins) is highly desirable
