This developer/automation role is for a line primarily working on developing in Salesforce. This person should be interested in and willing to learn Tosca (automation tool) as well as a goal for this line is to be full-stack this year (2021). If this person has ETL experience that is a bonus. Here is more specific verbiage:

Application Engineer

As an application engineer you will support the external deployment process for our clients growing Salesforce platform in a fast pace Agile environment. The application engineer role is cross-functional.

Minimum Qualifications

• Information technology, computer science or related college degree required (Associates or Bachelors)
• 2+ years of professional experience
• Experience with Java programming
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and organizational skills
  

Preferred Experience

• Code Deployment/merge experience
• Experience with API's (SOAP, Rest)
• Github experience
• Salesforce experience
• Contributions to large scale Salesforce implementations
• Support external Salesforce deployment process
