Position Description:
The Community Care Coordination department provides care management, data management, population analytics and surveillance services for multiple external and internal consumers. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for all aspects of Salesforce application development that support CCMCN’s production services. Candidate must have experience in Salesforce development and role management, data integration, ETL (extract, transform and load) tools and methods, analytics, reporting, and documentation.
Essential Functions:
1. Provide Salesforce development and maintenance support for the overall data architecture and supporting databases.
2. Provide automated solutions to configure, populate to, and extract from Salesforce applications based on business requirements.
3. Apply best practices and experience to support Salesforce application administration and development.
4. Provide development and maintenance support for CCMCN’s Salesforce data integrations between internal and external systems.
5. Create technical documentation of data integrations and processes.
6. Communicate and collaborate with other team members and clients to develop innovative data solutions.
7. Remain knowledgeable in healthcare data standards, measures and code sets as well as applicable data privacy practices and legal requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Experience working in and integrating with Salesforce applications and development platforms.
2. Experience with Salesforce APIs, Object Mapping, Workflow Rules, Approvals, Visual Flow, Process Builder and Platform events.
3. Experience with large scale system implementation, integration, interfaces, and data conversion
4. Experience building data integrations with both standard and proprietary ETL tools
5. Proficient with Python programming language and OData/REST API development
6. Proficiency in T-SQL and NoSQL data sets such as MongoDB
7. Knowledge of data warehousing best practices, concepts, and processes.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated change management experience.
9. Demonstrated ability to set and meet project timelines and deliverables.
10. Effective interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to interact with various levels of personnel.
11. Must be flexible, organized, self-directed, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and able to manage a full workload.
12. Experience in bridging the needs and pace across business and IT teams
13. Minimum of four or more years of work experience with data platforms, and two or more years of working with Salesforce applications
14. Ability to work 100% remote or primarily in an out of office setting
15. Fluency in written and spoken English.
Additional Preferred Skills:
1. Certified Salesforce Administrator and/or Certified Salesforce Developer
2. Strong business and technical writing abilities.
3. Experience working in the Health Care domain
4. Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7, CCD, CCR and claims data.
5. Knowledge of standard healthcare code sets like LOINC, ICD9/10, CPT4 and SNOMED.
6. Knowledge of IHI triple aim, clinical quality improvement, and primary care operations/workflow.
7. Ability to attend conferences and workshops for further education to expand and improve management skills.
8. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
9. The ability to work after hours as needed, including a non end-user facing call rotation on weekends.
