Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:
• Project implementation support: Participating in agile projects and sprint ceremonies including planning, design, development, test support, deployments, and issue resolution of Salesforce development. Resource will be responsible for code management and integration and story/feature implementation in a highly collaborative environment while being self-sufficient.

Salesforce development to include configuration activities, visual force pages, apex classes, apex triggers, etc in Salesforce – 1 year experience minimum.
• SALESFORCE API integration for applications residing on various platforms (ie linux, cloud, etc) – 1 year experience minimum

General Development Knowledge
• Assist with the gathering of requirements for various development efforts.
• Design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for internal use, perform defect corrections (analysis, design, code).
• Provide guidance and best practices in designing and application development specific to the technology being used.
• Identify and provide estimates/ recommendations for infrastructure work needed.
• Provide best practice recommendations for release planning to include work breakdown and task planning.
• Consulting on various related processes, as requested by USAA.
• Experience with Agile development methodology

SALESFORCE Development
• Develop new and/or enhancements to include configuration activities, visual force pages, apex classes, apex triggers, etc in SALESFORCE

JAVA Development

Interview Information:

2 step: 30 min phone tech screen, 1 hour (30 min deep dive/30 min behavioral) can be video or in-person.

Internal USAA teams that leverage SFDC. 

Business Challenge:

USAA has expanded their Salesforce offerings and capabilities as members have grown. This group has user developer apps, and corporate/IT supported apps. Few key projects are member chat project, case management, etc. They are building a COE to support the expanding capabilities and leverage SFDC talent.
