Job Description:
Programmer/Developer is being solicited by TDI to perform work on an agency Salesforce application. Emphasis of work performed shall be modifying and enhancing an existing application adopted from another state agency to meet the needs of TDI. Programming work will include, but is not limited to:
• creating robust role structure to apply and govern access to data within the application;
• creating and modifying objects and fields to gather data related to the agency's legislative tracking;
• implementing workflow approvals; and
• creating reports and lists to meet business area requirements.
Contract staff will also be responsible for writing technical and user documentation, as well as knowledge share with ITS staff prior to contract completion.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Required/Preferred Experience
4 Required Developing and administering custom applications on the Salesforce Classic and Lightning platforms using both built in and custom objects and functions
4 Required Eliciting requirements from end users and applying those in application development
4 Required Writing custom Apex code for Salesforce applications
4 Required Utilizing change management best practices to promote code to production environments
4 Required Developing applications in sprints, observing agile principles and following scrum methodologies
4 Required Using SVN, Git, or other version control systems
4 Required Coding following OWASP secure coding practices
4 Required Writing technical documentation
4 Required Writing user documentation
