Job Description:

Top Skills:
• 8+ years Senior development experience with Salesforce including configuration activities and development of visual force pages, apex classes and apex triggers, lightning web components
• Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud, REST/SOAP APIs, Git (Code repository); Nice to have: DX, Copado
• Experience developing, deploying and integrating with cloud and hosted applications
•Clear understanding of Agile execution utilizing scrum practices

Main Responsibilities:
• Project implementation support: Participating in agile projects and sprint ceremonies including planning, design, development, test support, deployments, and issue resolution of Salesforce development. Resource will be responsible for code management and integration and story/feature implementation in a highly collaborative environment while being self-sufficient.

Salesforce development to include configuration activities, visual force pages, apex classes, apex triggers, etc in Salesforce – 1 year experience minimum.
• SALESFORCE API integration for applications residing on various platforms (ie linux, cloud, etc) – 1 year experience minimum

General Development Knowledge
• Assist with the gathering of requirements for various development efforts.
• Design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for internal use, perform defect corrections (analysis, design, code).
• Provide guidance and best practices in designing and application development specific to the technology being used.
• Identify and provide estimates/ recommendations for infrastructure work needed.
• Provide best practice recommendations for release planning to include work breakdown and task planning.
• Consulting on various related processes, as requested by USAA.
• Experience with Agile development methodology
SALESFORCE Development
• Develop new and/or enhancements to include configuration activities, visual force pages, apex classes, apex triggers, etc in SALESFORCE
• Assist with SALESFORCE API integration for applications residing on various platforms (ie linux, cloud, etc)
JAVA Development
• Develop new and/or enhancements with Java programming, J2EE, Junit
• Develop / modify RESTful web services
• Experience working with WebSphere
General Development Knowledge
