Job Summary:
As a Salesforce Senior Developer at TCF you will, under general direction, devise and/or modify procedures to solve complex application problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. This includes coding, testing, debugging, documenting, deploying, and maintaining those programs. You will be competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of application engineering activities.

Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Work within a team using agile methodology to design, configure, and develop custom software

  • Provide input into overall systems design to ensure a consistent experience for our user community

  • Strategize with the team to determine the best solutions based on the business requirements provided

  • Research and evaluate any vendor provided applications or customizations; provide customization and/or development recommendations; and implement those solutions as needed

  • Define detailed application specifications, standards, flowcharts, and diagrams

  • Create, conduct, and manage unit tests and automated tests to ensure that code base meets specifications and remains stable

  • Generate documentation for all new and modified code changes

  • Collaborate with other developers and provide code reviews to troubleshoot, ensure consistency, and share knowledge across the team

  • Use industry best practices and procedures to deploy changes from development to production

  • Serve as 3rd Level Support to our user base for ongoing maintenance and production issues.

  • Support the full software development lifecycle, following appropriate programming and engineering methodologies and best practices
Minimum Qualifications

Education

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent work experience

Work Experience/Skills:

Required:

  • 3 to 5 years of Application Engineering experience, including heavy Salesforce development
(Lightning Components and APEX), Rest APIs and integration
  • Sound knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work in a high collaborative environment
  • Show the
  • Knowledge of design and programming techniques that provide security
  • Ability to debug code to troubleshoot and analyze defects
  • Sound understanding of application engineering concepts
  • Knowledge/experience with querying databases for data lookup/update

Preferred:

  • Salesforce Community Experience
  • Experience in Salesforce Automated DevOps
  • Experience in multi-org Salesforce Environment
  • Financial Services industry experience
